Default Hammerhead Featureless AR-15 Picture Thread

Post up your photos of your Hammerhead-Equipped AR-15. Action shots preferred. Muzzle blast, brass flying, and smoke. Lots of smoke. Still life shots OK too, be sure to get your toes in the photo. Let's see what you have done with your rifle to customize it...

I'll start it off:

Here's my freshly camo'd featureless CA rifle. Stock is pinned, if i want to go with a pistol grip, i just turn the raddlock, swap the mag and grip and attach the upper stock. 2 minutes to go from featured to featureless.

killer camo job! when I build my long range AR in a month I want the camo just like yours! Did you do it yourself or did you have it done?

Thanks, did it myself. Three cans of Krylon Camo (Tan, Dark Green, Dark Brown), a little masking tape and a bunch of junk laying on the floor is all it takes.
0. wipe down with alcohol and mask off what you don't want painted.
1. Hang and paint complete with tan, wait 30min.
2. throw gun on floor and partially cover with sticks, wood chips, etc.
3. spray randomly with brown, wait 1min, pick up, brush off, do other side.
3. repeat with green.
4. finished painted gun in less than 45min. Wait 1 week for full hardness before use or attaching of any accessories or it'll chip (course that just adds character).

That looks like a Spike's ST-22 receiver plug with optional sling mount.

very nice. what length is your barrel. i have my Hammerhead on my OLL but no pics yet. i have been thinking about using the buffer tube that came with it. mine has a 19 or 20 in barrel. no frills upper though standard A2 upper with rails i got in Iraq.

Thanks for the grip Exile. I just got it four days ago. Tried it on that day. Thought about it for two days, and since yesterday, I ditched my MIAD, AFG, Flash Hider, and adjustability of my ACS so that I can finally be free from my Bullet Button.

It was a good trade. I feel like I have a handy carbine, instead of an expensive range toy. Just can't wait to leave this silly state and configure my rifle how I want it.

Hammerheads, Monstermans, and grip fins are truly the sweet lemonade extracted from the rotting barrel of lemons that are California gun laws. All of these builds look great.

I really need to get one of these, do they make a plug to fill the hole in the grip for a buffer tube?

To my knowledge, SCARs take the same pistol grips as ARs, so you should be able to mount one.
