Default Finished My M&P 15-22 Paint Job

Worked this last weekend on painting my rifle. I used the Krylon camo paint with the fusion additive for plastic. I decided against modifying the handguard or putting a new one on as I did not want to spend the money. Over all I think the paint job came out ok for a first time.

Did you use Duracoat or something else? It looks great! I would however like to see some closer pics of it. Would it be possible to do a step by step for us? Especially the parts with the cool looking leaf patterns.

I used krylon ultra flat camo paint with fusion for plastic parts. Wears pretty well on plastic parts. I wanted to practice on the cheap before I take on my center fire rifles with the duracoat system. The leaf pattern is leavesfrom my mesquite tree. It took about 10 minutes to paint the whole rifle. It was a fun project and i feel better about tackling my center fires.

The second pic almost looks "texture coated" sitting up against the stucco wall. WOW!!I just thought of a new finish for "suburban combat"!

Would you post (or pm me) a how-to on this? I have an M&P15-22 as well and would like to make it look that more evil by adding a camo scheme. Thanks!
