Dunno about the AR.....if it's chambered in .223 vs. 5.56 you could prolly do a little better.

They sure got a decent price on those Glock 17s and 19s though.

No front or rear sights if you wanted to just take it out shooting. Unless you have an optic sitting around. Not a bad gun. Pretty sure the barrel is 1:9 twist which is pretty typical from S&W. Eats all kinds of ammo, fits magazines, good gun.

Just ordered mine today from Turner's. Out the door price (tax and DOJ fees) came to $1009.17 not including the $100 rebate. Will be my first AR. I figured you can't lose with S&W along with their customer service. Other reviews from gun mags had overall positive reviews for this AR.

The Turner's ad says .223, but isn't it 5.56?

I have had mine for two months and put three thousand rounds of everything from wolf, Tula, silver bear, pmc brass and federal ammo and it's still hungry. No FTF. No FTE. I installed a cheap tapco two piece quad rail on it and Troy BIUS Its a tack driver for what it is.

Here is a link to a great review on the S&W M&P15.

I have an M&P15T and know others who have the same. Great rifle.

If I were able to find an M&P when I was looking, I would have bought one.

Socal, I'm in the same position as you so don't worry. I couldn't pass up the deal and it's my first rifle. I have a kimber 1911 as well. I like the optic ready because I have some flexibility to pick any sight I want :-)

Good rifle. I don't know if I'd consider a Stag a better gun.

My old M&P was still hitting 2moa with irons and cheap ammo after a few thousand rounds of various ammo. 1/9 twist non chrome lined.

Buying another soon.

425, I'm not 100% on this nut I believe You can start the dros process for long guns when you place the order as SN isn't recorded like with handguns. For What its worth You may want to try asking them. Good luck!

If you are going to spend 1200 talk to New Frontier Armory and ask for Guido.
I got a Daniel Defense M4V3 mid w/ bullet button for a little more than 1200 shipped. It comes with a quad rail (DD Omega X 9.0).

I just bought one from TSM Consulting in Oceanside yesterday and serving my 10 day "vacation" I got the MOE version and am really excited to take it to the range for the first time. Lifetime warranty is about as good as you can ask for.

Btaksier, you mentioned Lifetime Warranty. Is that through S&W? I thought they offered only 1yr.

If the barrel is not already threaded, I can thread it so that you can install a flash suppressor or muzzle brake on it.

Default S&W M&P150R

Hello all,

Is anyone interested to buy my S&W M&P150R? I will sell it for a fair price.
I bought mine in April and shot 240 rounds on it. It is a nice gun and have no issue with it whatsoever so far. I'd like to get the money for building a custom one from Wilson Combat or LWRC.

Please contact me if you are interested.

FYI, this is not a For Sale thread. Post it in the appropriate forum.
