Default What uppers are compatible with DPMS .308 lowers?

I was wondering if I were to pick up a DPMS .308 lower or one with the same design and dimension, what uppers would fit it?

Obviously a DPMS .308 upper fits but I know Armalite uppers are not compatible.

What about the LWRC REPR, KAC SR-25? Do they use their own independent designed lowers to match with their uppers or do they mate with DPMS .308 or AR-10 lowers?

first of all, good luck getting a dpms lower into cali since they are not OLLs. i have dpms uppers on my pof receiver. the upper receiver needs to be sleeved in order for the pivot and take down pins to make a tight fit. the cmmg lowers will fit dpms uppers also but not sure if the upper also need to be sleeved. i'm in mv also and shoot at the sunnyvale rod and gun club. i can show you my setup if you'd like.

As long as the rear of the upper by the rear take down hole is round and not slash cut.

The exception would be the SR25, which looks like the top, but can accept the new Magpul LR20 mag. EDIT: What i meant to say was that the SR25 uppers can take the magpul mags, but i dont believe they'll fit on a DPMS lower.

DPMS compatible uppers (that I can recall off the top of my head):
DPMS, Fulton Armory, Iron Ridge Arms, Kaiser Defense, SI Defense, JD Machine, POF

There may be more.

As for the REPR and SR-25.....they may fit, kinda like an Armalite will fit, but I dont know if it will work. The armalite requires some milling of the "shelves" inside the receiver to work and then you have to worry about the ugly *** open spot in the back. I have no idea if REPR and SR-25 uppers will fit period, but that they just look like they have the same Armalite type receiver angle cut.
PM or Email me if you have questions:

Check out my LMT .308 AR
