Default Llama M-87

Anybody have or shoot a Llama M-87?

If you do or did, what do you think about it?

I ran into one that was on consignment at a great price................

I have never shot one, but I've never heard anything good about that company.

Isn't Llama the same people that produce the Bersa .380 ACP? I've heard the Thunder 380 is quite reliable once its broken in.

I have a Llama 45 max I 1911 style. Ive never had any mojor problems with it. Itss seen at least 1000 rounds so far with out a jam of any kind. It can shoot any ammo without a hiccup. The only issues ive had have been with the slide safety sticking occasionally. I know the caompany had a bad reputation, but I think they have come around to solve their issues. My old room mate had a mini max that was just as reliable as my full size 45. Good luck.

Be careful about this manufacturer. Many complaints about quality. Do your research first or the purchase may have an undesirable outcome when you need it the most. Then again, you would have a great story to tell us.....

Thanks Guys......I'm well aware of the problems that LLama has had with their 1911 "clones", the 2 mini-max's I got a while back were pretty awful

This is a slightly different animal and realtively rare on this shore as well as worldwide, as it was only built for 2 years, something interesting I found out is this gun is based on the M-82 that the spanish military adopted and takes standard Beretta M92 mags.

I didn't really buy it to shoot, mainly because of the price and rarity.

some stock photos.

Heh, '70 series Colt's, Sig's and Kimbers are for when I need them the most, I would never depend my life on a "3rd or 4th" tier manufacturer...........

BTW.........Jerry thanks for the Team Match........
