Default I need a new 5.56/.223 platform, which should I get?

Since it'll be a while before the roster dies and rotts in hell and no more hand guns on the roster interest me I'll go ahead and make my next 5.56/.223 purchase.

I'm stuck with these three, I can't decide which one to go with.

1. LWRC M6A3 18" barrel

2. FN FS2000

3. Scar in black

Which rifle should I choose? Anything I should know about any of these things before I make the purchase?

Do you reload? Or can you afford Blackhills Blue box 77gr Match Ammo, Reason I ask, if you are perfectly happy with 2-3" groups at 100yards using 55gr-62gr ammo, then go for the Scar or M6A3, my M6A3 will get MOA with the blackhills, anything else is 2-3" at 100 yards even 69gr match. The 1:7 twist barrels like heavy bullets. Spending +$2K on a rifle, you have to be able to afford the ammo. The nice thing is these guns barely gets dirty. Also plan on upgrading the trigger on the M6A3, I'm thinking of going with a Geissele SSA. I have not owned a Scar so i cannot comment on the trigger, I've tried my friend's FS2000 and found it nice and compact but trigger is not as nice as the other two. Hope this helps

I vote Scar.
I have had the chance to shoot a few of them. Recoil like my .22LR AR in a 5.56 platform that's piston driven.
I had to ask myself, "Did it fire?" after the first time I shot one.

I vote M6A3. I think the SCAR is overrated and everyone wants one, and I think the FS2000 is just plain ugly. I may get blasted for this, but it is merely my opinion...

What do you want to do with the rifle? If you just want to plink go Siaga or Mini14.

+1 on the Mini-14. That was my first rifle, and I still love it.

LWRC. Its nice not having to worry about the charging handle interfering with the position of your optics.

I wish I had your problem Not knowing which $2000+ rifle to get..

Cant go wrong with either. If you already have a nice AR, maybe go for the SCAR, or something a lil different, like the FS2000.

Piston 5.56/.223? How about the Saiga 223? You can buy like 5 of em instead of only one of the 3 choices

I love my LWRC... this is the special edition M6A2-S I bought, which has the midlength piston system of the M6A3, but I didn't really need to be able to switch gas settings, so it has the A2 block... its nice. You can't go wrong with LWRC's impeccable customer service, plus the plethora of AR parts that work with their rifles are a plus over any FN product.
