I would consider it. Send me a pic and an asking price and we can play "Let's make a deal!"

I installed one of their stocks on my bros mini-14 way back in the 90s. I remember trimming off a lot of excess plastic to get the shell to fit better. The trigger linkage bar (or whatever its called) went on easy enough but it made for a creepy trigger. Maybe things have changed since then, I hope it works out great for you...

I got the one from for my marlin 60 after the wood stock snaped, thought it would be something differant. I actually like it alot and I am more accurate with the rifle. They are fun, enjoy.

cool good to hear, I shot a kids 10/22 with this stock on her, it was pretty dang awsome! I just remember last winter it was soooo boring shooting it with a standard stock, i mean this should make it a little more interesting

I bought one for my son's 10/22 just for the looks. The trigger linkage is a joke. It's just a flat piece of plastic that slides between the two side housings that are too narrow. He trimmed the sides and greased the grooves, which made it function a little smoother. He recently converted back to the synthetic stock, so it's sitting on a shelf now.

That's awesome. You just gave me a reason to go buy a 795. I've been wanting one for some time, but never had a reason to get one. I don't see one listed for a 795 on the site you linked. Does the #70 fit the 795?

That is a great option for the (no offense intended) old-school-looking 795! I was considering a GSG-5, but this conversion kit just might persuade me to get a 795 instead.

I shot my friend's 1022 with a similar stock. It worked..... but I would probably not buy one myself.

Not sure if it's just the picture, but it looks like the sights are about six inches above the barrel. If so, shooting at varying distances might be a royal pain...

saw these on Amazon last night, was wondering if they were anygood, and legality on certain models. They make the stocks to fit a whole slew of guns.

OK SVT Fox, keep us updated in the stock. I just went to Turner's today and bought a 795, so I really want to hear how it all turns out. I'll hold off on ordering the stock until I hear from you. But I hope the stock works out for you beacuse I think they look pretty cool and different. And I really didn't need another 22 rifle, I don't even think it'll fit in the safes

This will be my 10th 22. I really do love shooting 22's, but 10 is a lot.

looks like a gun that kurt russel would use in the movie "Soldier"

Not really my style, and that's definitely not saying it's a bad thing.

still has not arrived, but from my internet research I may have to tap and drill some more bolt areas to make it close together just that much better. all around for 120 I cant seem to think it would be military worthy like so many want, its just a plinker!

Im expecting it any day now!

yes I sure did, I got personel email correspondence with the owner, very professional and quick, as far as I know its the only place to get them direct, and I do think its less expensive then amazon

NOW WITH PICS SCROLL BACK UP!!

Install was easy, the bolts have metal thread inserts in the plastic, its not cheap plastic threads, everything seems snug, i have not shot it but the trigger linkage could use some reinforcements, I know there is a guy who makes aluminum ones! maybe he is mass producing now? who knows! lets find out!

Looks great SVT!
I'm going to order one tonight. Let us know about the linkage reinforcements if you find anything out.

Looks like fun. I have red dot that needs a good home.

My son was interested in a bullpup conversion for his 1022 and found this thread at rimfire central.com:

http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...hlight=bullpup

a bit pricey, he is in limited production currently and is asking $295 each for the machined housing. but they look sweet....

this definitely falls into the "guns that look like space ships" platform! does it shoot lasers out the sides?

Default QUESTIONS!!

Ok, I really need to see how the LSHO linkage works in this bullpup!

Can you shoot a well-lit pic of how it looks???

Does it give you any difficulty removing magazines??

Also wondered about the fit, looks like the mag is showing thru the stock...is that adjustable to close up??

Inquiring Minds wanna KNOW!!!

the linkage is the worst part, its very thin and long, but it does do its job. There is a guy somewhere in cyberspace that makes aluminum replacements, or has made them, not sure if they are mass produced, prolly not. cocking and removing magazines is the same as before. not sure what adjustable to close up means , but yes you can see a sliver of the mag through the stock..

The area where the magazine shows thru, can you loosen the screws & push the plastic up so it won't let it show thru??

Or is it always going to show thru??

I was also wondering what the Mag Well & stuff looks like from below.
