Just say your assembling to sub assembly's together.

I am going to crack up next time I see a thread titled, "Hey! Check out my new AR assembly of two sub assembly's!"

Does anyone know where I can get the piece i'm missing on my sight? It's the piece that slides onto the bolt and sandwiches the mount to the lower.

Out of curiosity, does the other side of the lower have a plum crazy logo on it?

now i see colors in gun works!
i remember my wife wanting one (9mm) neon rifle w/ bipod we saw at a Reno gun show.
too bad it wasnt legal to sell in Cali. i have been explaining to her 'bout it but until now
she still makes me feel bad why i never wanted to buy her that piece!
offered her many other choices and the only reply i got - "i want that one in Reno"!

i thought of that - i cant think of any platform that she'll like though.
im waiting for the time she could see one in particular and make it a girlie style.
somehow she still insists of "that one in Reno".

If you wanted lightweight (I.E. Plumcrazy lower), why on earth did you use a Yankee Hill rail!?

I know it's heavy but I liked the way it looked and it had a lot of paintable surface.

Plum crazy and noveske? That's like double-dating Heidi Klum and Rosie O'Donnell...

Seriously though, fantastic rifle. I'm interested to see how the plastic lower shoots. Keep us posted!

Default Update.

No problems whats so ever. The Plum Crazy Polymer lower works great.Light and reliable. We put about 200 rounds through it.I have to figure out what to do about sights.I guess some cheap iron sights.

I love the pink magazine in your pink AR! I want to get one for my pink AR too!! Did you just paint a PMag? Won't the pink just come off where the magazine rubs against the well? It sounds like you still haven't taken it shooting yet, but I think it might be hard to keep it looking that pretty which is what I am scared of.

The duracoat comes off, which I don't like. If I could find solid pink, plastic mags, I would be sooo happy. Especially the checkerboard kind like Pmags.

The Pmags can be dyed. I haven't tried it, and I don't know if you could get them as light as pink, you'd have to experiment. Search arfcom for Pmag dying and there are a few threads explaining it. The dye they use is made for plastic and actually impregnates the plastic so it doesn't wear off. If you nailed down the right combo of dye to make the pink you want, you could use it on a few Pmags, and Magpul furniture to have a matching rifle with a finish that won't wear off or scratch (as much/easily).

I'm just finishing up my first AR build, but I just saw those PlumCrazy lowers.
They're so cheap! I could get a complete lower for the price of my stripped receiver.
I might buy one just to check it out with my upper.
What source did you go through to get yours?
Looks nice for the lady!
