Default Thoughts/Review of BVAC ammo?

Looking at some bulk packs of 9mm BVAC ammunition, but I can't seem to find any reviews of this brand. These are reloads, but they are dirt cheap: roughly 175 for 1000 rounds for 9mm. This means range time folks! But is this stuff any good, or is it garbage? Buy or avoid?

I bought the new brass 9mm BVAC. I've shot 200 rds so far and had no problems whatsoever. Pretty clean too compared to wwb.

I bought 250 rds of 38 sp. All were fine, but mine were somewhat dirty and smelled. I've heard that some indoor ranges don't like BVAC because of the smell.
I've since put about 5 reloads on most of the brass.

Bitterroot Valley rifle ammo I've used was clean and somewhat accurate. I just buy it for the brass and shoot it for free.............
nice reloading platform.

Never had any problems, and didn't notice any weird smell.. I think this stuff is just as good as the WWB. As a matter of fact, I have found more deformed WWB brass than BVAC.

I got concerned about some bulk BVAC .30 carbine ammo that I had bought at a gun show about a year and a half ago. I only recently got around to shooting some of it, and something didn't look right - some of the fired cases looked like the pressure was too high. I emailed them and even though a lot of time had passed since the ammo was purchased, they sent out all new replacement ammo in about 3 days - and included a UPS prepaid label and box for sending back the old ammo. Their customer service people are great - the replacement ammo seems perfect in every way.

Exactly! Thats the reason why I bought it. Its cheap and to some extent it re-usable. At 17 bucks for a box of 50 rnds of 5.56 its almost worth the amount you would spend on brass lol

Although I recently was at the range and after several weird groups (couldn't be me!) I started checking caseheads and found four different brands of cases were used....this was .223 BVAC ammo.
Still a good buy at .37 per round...
