Default GP100 adj. sight to fixed sight conversion?

I own a Ruger GP100 with adjustable sights. This is 4" Stainless model new in 1990.
The adj. sights have always been quick to slip out of adjustment. I would like to convert to some kind of fixed sights. If necessary, I would be willing to pay a Gunsmith to do the work. However, I prefer to do it myself if possible.
What sights would give the most 'bang for my buck'?
Should I do it myself or pay a Gunsmith?
Thank you in advance.

Never heard of sights adjusting themselves. Maybe you should consult a Gunsmith. I have a GP100, bought in '88. Never had a bit of problems, even after about 10,000 rounds.
