Default Luger p08 value?

I am looking to buy a 1918 Erfurt luger p08 from a friend. I believe the gun has been reblued. The numbers do match, however the magazine does not. What is a good price to pay for this luger in its current reblued condition. I'm guessing its about 90% with very minor pitting under the reblueing.

Go to Cheaper Than Dirt and look up their "blue book" gun prices.
Maybe it's there.
If not, Google it and perhaps you'll find it.

Good Luck.. it's a very nice one!

I'd love to find an old Luger just to shoot but all the ones I see are collectible. And probably out of warranty.

hard to say without pictures. re-blue hurts value unfortunately. At the low end, non-collector "shooters" are typically in the $600 range now. best bet is to get pictures and post on the dedicated luger forums either:

jan still's luger forum at

by the way, luger posted above looks nice but has incorrect plastic replacement grips.
