Default out of state sales

I recently wanted to purchase a winchester 1894 from a dealer back east. (gunbroker) He says he won't ship to CA. I emailed him as to why. He stated he didnt know what he had to do. Fair enough so i directed him here.

Question is, What does an out of state vendor have to do to sell a firearm to someone in CA? I am sure when he logs in he will be looking this up. thanks

If the rifle is at least 50 years old AND you have a 03 FFL (Curio & Relic) see http://www.calgunlaws.com/index.php/...-firearms.html
