Default Picked up my XCR *pics*

Finally got to pick up my XCR the other day.
Seems like a really well-built rifle. I took some pics next to my 16" M4gery for comparison. The ergos of the BHO/release and charging handle are great. It has MI sights, and the updated 5-setting gas system and new trigger.
AR and XCR, right side

AR and XCR, left side

XCR bolt and AR bolt

AR BCG and XCR BCG

It is a little bit heavier than my DI M4 with gov profile barrel, but it's not really an apples to apples comparison on weight, as the XCR has a heavy barrel, piston instead of DI, and full length FF rail.
The stock is a nice length and is about level with position 3 on an AR, which is good for me.
Thanks for caring. Let me know if there are any other pics you want.

Nice piece! Be sure to do the 500 round break in and to run it wet. If you have questions about the platform, feel free to pm me.

I bought it used, so it's broken in.
And yes, the AR is 5.45, so the bolt face is larger

I'm totally jealous. If they'd just make one in 6.5 Grendel I wouldn't be able to hold back anymore. I can't make up my mind between the SCAR or XCR. Whoever is the first to come out with a 6.5 Grendel version will probably get my order. Have fun.

IIRC, Robinson does have a 6.5 kit for it.
EDIT: It's not out yet, but in development.
I'm waiting for the .308

I just found that stock too short with the MMG -- but I keep wanted to buy another one! Great looking pair!

The Robinson XCR is a great rifle. Be patient when breaking it in. The first 150 rounds I had jams left and right and now it runs smooth everytime.

The robinson is going to become one of your favorite pieces as it is mine.

Unfortunately, It's been "in development" for a couple years now. I have no idea what's taking so long. Perhaps they don't think there's enough sales volume?

Maybe?
They're also working on a 5.45 kit. They've got the 6.8 kit out already, so I doubt the 6.5 is that far behind.

Yeah, I'm not sure what causes people to have jams during break in, but I bought this used, and it's well broken in
What ammo are you having good luck with? How heavy/what gas setting? I'm imagining I'll run nothing higher than 69gr in it.

I'll have to look into a featureless build on this one.
