Probably a .45. To the best of my knowledge these AMT .45s are marked "Hardballer", the 10mms are "Javelina".

ETA - Forgot to mention, this thing is pretty sweet. Good luck with the sale.

Is Javelina their "other caliber" or "espress" marking?
I seem to remember they're .30 carbine pistol was also called Javelina.

It looks greenish on my monitor too, is that just the flourescent lighting from when the pic was taken?

actually the .30 carbine was an automag III. My first 1911 is a Govt Length AMT Hardballer... still a great shooter 20+ years later.

-mine's also from the El Monte days of AMT.

I hear that. Longslides are few and far between. I'm holding out for a Covina longslide, most of them are Irwindale however, makes for a long wait.

It is mine. I made the 1200 mile round trip drive to buy it last weekend. This is one of 2 guns that I would make this journey for. Thanks Ian.
