Default SOLD As new KIMBER Warrior II + x300 + grips

Thanks to everyone who PMed or called -- but apparently a Calgunner WON the auction for this gun I ended on gunbroker -- I don't know how it is even possible -- when I ended it, it literally said "0 bids" but this morning I get calls from a CG who says he won and when I go on gunbroker it has this guy as the winer of my closed auction! (anyone that knows how this could happen, please let me know)

I've had to put him in contact with Justin.

Again, thanks for calling.

-- I have a Kimber Warrior II -- one of the top of the line Kimber 45s with accessory rail, VZ desert sand grips, Surefire X300, tow mags -- the whole thing shot MAYBE 30-40 rounds. That's it. Retail for everything approaches $1700 -- Calguns price $925 you pay shipping if you are not in LA area.

No box. I have also listed this on gunbroker for $1000 including shipping

Seriously? Are you that impatient or just wanting us to know you're ahead of us? Give the guy a break... I'm sure he knew this would be snatched up rather quickly. He'll be around.

Sent a PM from my iPhone but didn't appear in my outbox. Not sure if it went through or not on NewYorkers box. Not sure where I'm at in line, but I'll take it.

Are you serious? I hope the OP deals with the first guy. This isn't an auction site.

Default offers?

Somebody probably needs to orient him to the rules of posting here. If he posted a price, it's not an auction and he needs to abide by how we do it. This is the problem when a member would posts for a non-member or a family member and then decide to run it as an auction. I'm not saying that this is what's happening now, but if it is, it should not be allowed or the person be granted membership or selling privileges here.

Thanks for all your responses. It was my daughter's 17th birthday last night and I went out -- wasn't expecting such a reaction (I should have -- it's a steal) I've given the serious PM buyers the phone number of my nephew in Van Nuys who is the owner of this gun. Ranger Roy, this is NOT an auction -- the price is t he price -- (but I will say many responders have posted offers OVER The price -- is that my doing? No.) he's just is particular about how far he'll drive to do a PPT -- whoever gets in touch with him and makes arrangements gets it. This is a special case and paticularly sensitive to me because this is a gun I bought for him as a gift -- and he just lost his job and has a new baby or I would have bought it back from him -- or TAKEN it back -- but I agreed to sell it for him. Thanks for your interest.

Not meaning to offend you or your nephew. But when you pm'd me that he is taking offers, that's what it sounded like. I hope he does find a job real soon and congratulations on his new born.

It's offers about where to do the PPT. As I said, people are offering mare than I asked, but the key is where they live. It probably would be simpler to just ship it in some cases. he was bringing the gun to me today for ME to deal with this, but so many people PMed last night it didn't make sense to get in the middle of it. He is not a "gun guy" I try to give him guns as gifts with the understanding that I get first dibs on buying them back (an expensive loaner) but he never got around to shooting this gun, and I just bought an XD45, so here it is.

If you =guys have trouble making contact with him, let me know.

talked with your nephew a few minutes ago.
he will be selling it to the gunbroker auction winner for $855 since the auction was stopped early with an active bid.
i totally understand for honoring the auction site(gunbroker) rule.
lesson here is to post it on one website at a time.
good luck on the sale... just save myself $1000(my offer to him)

That's pretty honorable man. Especially, considering the deal. I just hope the calgunner that won this didn't exploit the fact that it was on Gunbroker, and use it as a speed pass for the line...

The thing is done and I'm ready already on the hunt for the next Calgun steal. But I'm curious, what constitutes a serious PM buyer? I felt like I was eligible. (Live in LA county, had cash on hand)
