Wish I had the funds to pick up the 1006. Purely out of curiosity, how would you compare the difference in grip size between the Smith and the Glock? Don't mean to hijack, good luck with the sale!

The smiths grip is longer front to back but alot thinner from side to side compared to the Glock. Thanks for looking.

That 1006 is a sweet gun, that is the gun Don Johnson carried in Miami Vice. Lots of good stuff here. Good luck

How far are you willing to travel? I would be interested in the G20 if you could meet in the east bay (Walnut Creek) or better yet meet in Vacaville.

Negative, Don Johnson carried the Bren Ten, not the Smith & Wesson 1006 which came out later.

You are correct! But in season 3 he carried the S&W Model 645 in 45acp. Ahhhhhhh what a show.

Yes, but by then I would say it was a 4506 and not the 645. Same frame as the 1006 though, so it's easily mixed up if you don't pay attention.

What he said. I'm in Davis, but go down to the Walnut Creek area every now and then. I know it's not likely but I would also be interested in the glock 20.
