Talking A few questions regarding gun shows.

Hello, I've never been to a gun show before, and I might be heading out to the Costa Mesa one this weekend. I have a few questions I'd like to ask.

Question #1: Tickets are available 'at-the-door' right? Would hate to make my way out to the show and find out tickets are not available

Question #2: If I were to make a purchase on something that needed to be DROS'd, would it be DROS'd on site?

Question #3: If a purchase was made, after the 10 day waiting period, where is firearm is picked up? At the dealer's location?

Thank you for your time .

The answer to all questions is Yes.

1) Tickets are always at the door available for purchase.

2&3)Any gun purchase unless it is a C&R long gun (over 50 years old) from a private seller (non dealer)where you can take it with you will need to be registered. Most shows have a transfer dealer or the seller may do his own dros if he is also a dealer with an FFL. The gun will normally go home with that dealer (or the transfer dealer) and you will pick it up at his shop or home after the 10 day wait.

Now ,go have fun. BRING CASHHHHHHHHHH!!!! That is the best way to buy.

If it's C&R, 50 years or older it should be cash and carry. It depends on who is selling it and how they interpet the law.
Most people say "registered"...but LONG GUNS ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH ANYONE!
Only Handguns are registered to your name. For Long guns, the DOJ only knows you are buying a rifle, not what kind, they do not know, and they do not get the S/N either, so, there is nothin to "register" as far as long guns go. They are just doing a background check to see if you qualify for the purchase.

AND, if you go to this link you can get a one dollor off coupon!
Go, you will have fun, LOTs to see.
And it cost $5 bucks to park now to.

+1 to ledman.

Plus, be ready to pay about $20 for parking and admission. If you find anything, Gunrunners is usually at the shows, does DROS's, and is located in Duarte (not too far from Alhambra). You pay the seller, bring the gun to Gunrunners' table, they do the paperwork & keep the gun, you pick it up at their shop 10 days later.

And welcome to Calguns.
