Default Check out my HK SP89

I posted some pics of a couple of my newer rifles on the Rifles Gallery and wouldn't you know...I can't put the camera down. Here's some porn for you HK honks like me.

Pics are of my genuine unfired KD date-coded HK SP89 (paid $5000 for it with original Styrofoam box and manual). It's Raddlocked, and has 30/10 German mags in it. Currently sporting a forearm taken from a BW89 pistol. I like it better than the stock SP89 forearm. Gives it more of a MP5K look.

Congrats on your purchase!
I remember paying $700 for mine in the 80's. And paid $600 for an HK94, and $800 for an HK91 1 and $1500 for a PSG1.
I had to leave my HK family & AUGs in WA. And I miss them badly....lol!

Nice collection bro!

Those were the days! Milkman brought you milk every day, gas station attendants checked your oil and wiped off your windshield, movie theater's still had intermissions, kids watched Tom & Jerry cartoons, Reagan was a hero, the term illegal immigrant referred to a cow that wondered off your property and into your neighbors. Ahhhhhh, memories.

On my SP89, In WA state I was able to place a front grip and folding stock
and made it a PDW with a tax stamp. Just to bad I can't bring them back to CA.

A tax stamp to Californians is literally a stamp you put on an envelope when mailing out your taxes.

some NFA tax stamps can be acquired in CA.

Federal Tax stamp in Wa front grip was 25.00 and folding was 50.00
what?

There aren't any $25 or $50 federal tax stamps for NFA firearms. What you descriibed making was an SBR, by attaching the shoulder stock, $200 making tax on a Form 1. You shouldn't have needed to pay a second tax stamp for the VFG.

pricing on the tax stamps hasn't really changed since 1934.
