Got my two kits today. Not only was shipping fast, but Thordo's communication during the ordering was top-notch.

This is a great kit, the "nub" is made out of hard, non-marring plastic.

Thanks Thordo!

Thordo - love the product. Do you have a model that will work with the new design Cal 10-BS / Cal 15-BS design (smaller hole that a prince or radlock).

Thanks!

Hey dhawkins,
I sent you a PM. I'll contact the maker of the Cal 15-BS and see if we can work something out together. His product looks very cool.

Some suggestions... (Which i numbered because I'm a very organized person and i really like numbers).

1) Have you ever considered a method that would not require modification of the mag body? EX: Something that would clip on around the mag with a high traction material underneath it so that it does not slip around?

2) I think it would be cool if you made a video demonstrating the process of installing these. Some people are visual people and learn best when they can watch someone doing an installation and then do it for themselves.

3) I know every kit comes with paper instructions, But it would be cool if you were to post them somewhere (possibly in annotation to the video i suggested).

Both #2 & #3 would show people how easy the installation really is.

Anyway, cool product!! I'll be going to Sacramento Black Rifle probably early next week to buy some of these to check out and possibly play with some alternate mounting positions.

Hi Norcaldustin,

Very good suggestions all. I'll answer your questions in order.

1. We do, in fact, sell Magpuls, Ranger Plates, and 10 and 10/20 round C Products magazines (we're still looking for good pricing on Pmags), but only at gun shows or through our growing list of retailers. Right now we're focusing more on distribution rather than individual sales which is why you don't see these items on the thread.

2,3. We did have the instructions posted on the thread before the last major update but decided to take it out because the thread was getting painfully long and difficult to edit. We considered a video but in all honesty, these are so easy to install that its really not necessary. A website is in the works but not a high priority. Besides, I still have my day job

If you've never been to Sac Black Rifle, I must say that it is a small but VERY well laid out and organized store. Rob and his crew are pros.

You can mount the tips pretty much anywhere on a mag but the lower front edge is the best for several reasons.
1. It doesn't interfere with the spring or follower, especially on 10 rd Cprod mags.
2. Ergonomically, it is the best spot for super fast mag changes.
3. It doesn't interfere with your mag pouches or vest pockets.

That said, I totally encourage you to experiment and give me feedback. Several Calgunners deserve props for helping develop the product to its current state by bench testing prototypes and giving feedback.

Thanks!!

Thordo

I bought two packs of these and installed them tonight. They work great and were a breeze to install. Thanks a lot for the quick service. I highly recommend to these to anybody using a bullet button on their rifle.

I'll be passing the word to everybody I know about these.

Which kit do I need if I want to install the tips on magpulls? Not the mag bodies, but the slip-on magpulls.

Thanks!

Hi Victory,
That's gonna be the Kit A. We just made up 60 preinstalled magpuls for the Fresno show this weekend.

Ahh, ok. So "magazine enhancements" = magpulls. I should have figured that one out, heh.

E-mail sent.
