I bought my Aimpoint from Turners years ago, but their selection is very limited.
Buy on-line after you do your research.

You may find it difficult to find anything decent from local gun stores. The reason that was given to me is that new models come out regularly and stores don't like to get stuck with old inventory.

I ended up buying an 8MOA Burris FastFire III (with no mount) for $224 from eBay. Burris offers "no questions asked forever warranty". That's the main reason I decided to go with Burris.

So you budgeted $300 but ended up getting something at the $50 range?
