Hi Guys, I am in Orcutt. I realize I am answering a 3 months old question but just in case.
The Santa Maria Gun Club (Telephone Rd) is open on Saturdays, Sundays at 11 AM and Wednesdays at 5 PM, great place to learn trap.

Ventura here (only for 1 year) I spent the rest of my life in Goleta and I work in SB.

I'm a shotgun enthusiast, but I do have a fondness for pistols and a nice AR.

I'm an EMT moving onto Paramedic and am very interested in Tactical Medicine.

Checking in...from Santa Maria. Newly 're-activated' interest in weapons sparked no less by my wife's interest in learning to shoot. Now the adult kids are also interested...go figure.

What we got is not much.... 9mm, .357, .22lr, 12 guage defender...but wanna know about more.

Oh yeah...we ride a Harley.....yee haw!

Funny.. I've been a member for a while now, but just found this thread. I drill oil wells for a living. I have built a few AR's and a couple of FAL's. I'm a far cry from a gunsmith, but I love collecting and building guns.

Great! My father and my father-in law were both womb to tomb old fashioned Family M.D.'s. Unfortunately they are both deceased now. Your friend is in Ojai?... and I see another paramedic just posted from Arroyo Grande. Maybe we could have a meet & greet sometime? Unfortunately the way things are going it can't hurt to have friends with skills. My husband is a Vietnam era ex Army guy who has developed his own set of skills over the years. Remember... Did your father and father-in-law work in Lompoc? I spent many years there at Station 51 in VV Village.

Small world. We actually live in VV Village now; however my husband and I grew up in the South Bay--Hermosa Beach area during the heyday of surfing. Greg Noll, Hap Jacobs, Dewey Weber were the local guys.... awww those were the days.

Remember the days when Doctors made House Calls and you could reach them by phone when you had a question?
