Interested in guns since very young (thanks Dad), but don't consider myself a gun nut. I'm into mostly tactical pieces. Bitten by the BRD bug about a year ago (at the height of the hype, ouch). Still haven't found a cure.
Calguns is awesome. Friendly members on the boards, even more friendly in person!

I guess I should do this...

Jeff from Fremont
Network Engineer
I was exposed to guns at a young age (6 IIRC) and it's been downhill from there.
I do photography, computer programming, web design, and I shoot. I'm happy to help people with anything in my realm of knowledge.

Montara, just north of Half Moon Bay
Attending UCSC with a bunch of of dirty hippies. The girl ones aren't so bad.
Intern, ChemRisk Risk Assessment/Consulting Firm.
Thoroughly convinced that whoever invades, when they invade, will do so upon the uninhabited, and unattended, beaches of the west coast, much like my own. Myself and several other wilderness survival enthusiasts have spent years honing our skills of living off the land in Montara. Armed for years with high velocity/caliber pellet rifles, and several bows, we have mastered the hunt of the rabbit. The upgrade to firearms serves only as a defensive precaution, our close proximity to rural areas demands we carry out our everyday expeditions with the continued use of our pellet rifles. I tote a Walther Talon, Falcon Hunter Series .22 caliber 1000 fps break-barrel beauty.

CA1903

Larry, on peninsula.
Member of Sunnyvale Gun club / NRA and hold C&R license.
Learned shooting in high school with 1903, M16 and M1 carbine; did ROTC service in Taiwan with Garand and M14.

Did startup before in wireless hardware; designed/delivered several Palm Treo's. Am doing consulting work now with customers. Any lead is helpful for more / future work.

Present project is to put together a CA legal AR style rifle in 308 caliber. Like to keep it under 10lb and as accurate as practically possible (including $ constraint). Advice and suggestions always welcomed.

Yeah man. It was designed to be a scaled down M14. The mini 30 is built to fire 7.62!

hi. I'm in the SF Bay Area, specifically Vallejo. I'd be interested in manning a table at the Vallejo Gun Show and will probably be looking to have a CGN BBQ or get-together at my house sometime this summer.

Bill
San Jose

Lost my job about a year ago, used the chance to get back into school. I want to help out at a Calguns booth in the upcoming San Jose (possibly Cow Palace) shows. Need to find out who to contact for that... If anyone wants to play some MW2 give me a holler, I'm pretty good at it I think so if you want to whoop some tail with another calgunner send a friend request to Beacon of Doom!

Currently looking to upgrade my AR with some larue rails and a gas block then going to send it down to riflegear to do the work for me.
