Mine was kind of easy as use the hammerhead grip so i had a buffer tube i could just punch screw into.

but here is another way i put one metal peg under the trigger to move the stcok and another up front just to be safe.

Because a featureless gun cannot have a pistol grip, along with several other prohibited features. In exchange for losing the prohibited features you can drop legally owned or legally borrowed magazines (including those holding more than 10 rounds) with your finger instead of a tool. Some featureless grip products work by blocking your thumb from wrapping around the grip.

Good question. With the Hammerhead featureless grip, you can wrap your hand around the gun:

haha love the exilemachine Hammerhead page... at the bottom: "Customers who bought this product also bought..." and "AR Bullet Button" is listed first. Flowchart fail.

It's not necessarily a fail. We have a lot of customers who purchase parts for multiple rifles on one order.

Indeed. My first AR build was a BB'd with telescoping stock and pistol grip, and I despised that gun. Now, with my featureless A2 clone, I'm in love!

Oh yes. My latest acquisition from a fellow Calgunner was a 20" A2 retro. I changed out the flash hider for a muzzle brake and slapped on a Monsterman. A2 stock and no more bullet button required It looks fabulous now with all those old prebans I had laying around...

That's the way to fly, brother.

Here's my current setup:

And a couple "COD" style pics for good measure, hahah!

Care to elaborate? Don't be turned off by the tape, that's just there to help secure the Kydex wrap over the PG, and to fill the remaining *small* hole between it and the stock, so that there is no "thumbnail hole" of any kind. Even that hole can't fit a single finger, but I figure might as well cover it to CYA on all bases.

I understand you're proud of your AR, but downsize the image! You're stretching the whole thread for a picture that doesn't even belong here.

Will a PWS556 TTO be considered illegal on a Featureless rifle?

Im thinking about converting my AR to Featureless.
What would the comfort level be with the featureless grips compared to pistol grips? Huge difference?

PWS has an ATF letter confirming that the FSC556 is a muzzle brake not a flash hider. But that doesn't matter to CA DOJ
The TTO is just a FSC556 without prongs according to their website.

So IMO TTO is GTG but the FSC is not

There are threads specifically discussing these issues. Lots of good discussion if you use the search function for "FSC556".

Bottom line: BATFE letter holds no weight against CA AW laws. The normal FSC556 is a flash hider. No-go for featureless. Tines on end are designed to reduce flash signature.

TTO is good to go on featureless, since the flash suppressing tines are removed. I run a TTO on my featureless.

This definition includes flash hiders, but does not include compensators and muzzle brakes (devices attached to or integral with the muzzle barrel to utilize propelling gasses for counter-recoil).

The Battlecomp has been clearly shown to reduce muzzle flash in comparison videos.

Why take the risk when there are serveral other proven muzzle breaks from which to choose from?

IIRC, That is only if the muzzle device is marketed as a "flash hider".

However we can all interpret the laws however we want. It's your call whether to run it or not. I don't have a featureless so I don't need to worry.
