Default sold.

Ok, long story short: I have this barrel from a Remington 870 12 guage pump. I loaned the shotgun to a friend, it came back with a gash/ding in the barrel. He couldn't explain it very well but did end up paying me so that I could get a different one. This has been sitting around my house, and I'm ready for it to be gone. What is it worth in reality?.

I just don't know for certain if it is worth anything to anybody or not. So, I've put a price on it and we'll see what happens. Take a look at the photos, especially the close ups of the ding/gash.

Overall length is approximately 28 7/8". The ding is approximately 16 1/4" from the action end of the barrel. It is 3" compatible, smoothbore and I believe factory modified choke (but I'm not 100% certain on the choke).

Please post reply AND pm.

Looks like your friend wanted to cut it down some bump for you!

Does it have a hole through it? Looks like someone was using a cutoff wheel on it and it went through.

not through, just a nick (bit more than the thickness of a fingernail is my best guess). I also mentioned to my (former) friend it looked like a grinder. He never confessed to how it happened.
