I shoot there when I go camping. No shooting within 150 yards of a camp ground. Can't use the trees as a target, but other than that it is legal to shoot there. Know what's beyond your backstop. I believe that is a season for Grey squirrels, and not sure if they would be happy about shooting the yotes, make sure that you have a hunting permit.

There's a public shooting range in the hills east of Fresno, a bit south of the Indian Casino. I go there when I visit my folks in Madera. I'll see if I can remember the name of the place - it was listed in the phone book.

Fresno rifle and pistol club is just outside of town. It is a good place - you can shoot out to 300 yards. Much more relaxed than Bay Area ranges.

Sheriffs range near herndon and 99. But any open lands I would be interested in also.
