Default Some German Rifles

Thought I'd post a few more for the week.

German G43, duv 44, all matching, minus the magazine, stock has linseed oil on it, otherwise a good shooter.

Mod 98, Mauser banner, 1933 marked for DRP (German Post office), all matching, non-import.

Mod 98, 237, 1939 serial # in the low 20's, all marks on rifle and stock, non-import/non-capture, in excellent condition.

Thank you, I'm happy to share with others, I appreciate the history tied into each rifle, not to show off, just so share and appreciative that I can acquire these items I've long wanted.

Nice rifles! The G43 looks pretty cool. That post office one is interesting. All the 98s I've seen are always beat up.

I must say I'm quite pleased with the G33/40 too, for me the Mauser thing started with a Mitchell's Mauser that my folks got me, then when I started doing research, I just took a liking to the German weapons for some reason.

I hear ya bout the $$ situation, I got injured on the job three years ago, my job was the type where if you don't work, no $$ and we didn't get workers comp, gotta sue your employer to recover (long drawn out process).

Still not working, but hope to be back at some point doing something.

That or something handed down from one family member to another who was a vet and brought it back as a war trophy.

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.
Next thing you know, you think "Deliverance" is a love story.
