Default Kel-Tec SU-16 CA - where to buy in SoCal?

Now that I've decided to get one where's a shop in SoCal that stocks them? Turners won't order one and the mail order outfits are out of stock. I'll call KT come Monday but does anyone here know? TIA

In the old Calguns Forum there was a group buy in San Diego; don't know how far it got but here is an older thread on http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=11&t=212032

In the Ventura area so I could certainly get one up in SB; does anyone on the forum own one or could give their opinion on the Kel-Tec SU-16CA?

I have an SU-16A, which has the first generation crappy sights, about a thousand rounds down the barrel without any hiccups. I like it a lot, though the CA version is better. It is pretty accurate (one CALGUN member shot 15/16" group at 100 yards with CA model, I personaly can do under 2" , I think my best 5 shot group at 100 yards was 1.25" with 40 grain Nosler), a cheap gun, easy to stow, light enough to take backpacking, more re-coil than an AR-15 (I don't have a muzzle brake). Once I'll get the other projects sorted out I'll get the CA version and sell the A version. It isn't an AR and if I could have a non-neutered AR I probably would stick only to that, but since I can't the SU is a good compromise.

Turners in Pasadena at least used to stock them... It may depend on your Turners. The one in Reseda kinda sucks because they are under L.A. gun laws.

Majority of employers wouldn't pay us more if they didn't have to pay it. It eats up their profits and that is the only reason to have a business, profit.

For the money Rock River all the way. No issues and with a MOA guarantee at 100 yards and 3/4 of a MOA at 100 yards with some models. .. it will out shoot half the crap that is out there. Trust me I know and have out shot all the expensive stuff...
