That is very sweet.
You'll have to let us know how recoil and handling are in such a light pistol.

Got to molest one at the Gun Exchange this weekend and yes its very light. Lighter then the XDsc I bought the same day. Almost feels like a toy gun.

Ken, Can't wait to hear your report on this.
Those are some really great photos.
This time I wore a bib, so I didn't drool all over my keyboard.

Beautiful pictures as usual. I am still not warming up to this gun. Something must be wrong with me.

Why do you feel this is necessary? I don't feel it is necessary.

That's a beautiful pistol. So, far pictures are about as close to a Five-seveN as I've gotten. I hope you'll give us a full report after your first trip to the range. I'm curious if you find the recoil as light as FN claims.

Nothing wrong with being skeptical of new things especially something this different. I do like it and I will be one of the guinea pigs myself. I especially like the accurate range. Up to 100m is what I've heard. maybe a 2x red dot rectical would be a nice accessory. I'm still a little skeptical of the stopping power but all the data I've seen so far looks good. I just want to see some real world data (cop taking down a crack head or something to that effect). Some things are hard to duplicate in a lab. I have a feeling that we may see a lot of companies exploring similar concepts in the future.

I finally picked up my FN Five-seveN USG last Thursday. It had been with my dealer since early March, and a glitch in the DROS (Dealer Record Of Sale, a California-specific thing) system prevented me from getting it earlier. My first impression is that it's light. In fact, it weighs less than a subcompact Glock.

This week is a bit too busy -- preparing for a 90-minute lecture this Friday evening, which will be simultaneously broadcasted in Tokyo -- so I hope to hit the range with it next week.

But, for now, I have some snapshots:

I think you should cover up that Serial Number, no? Otherwise, that is a sweet looking pistol.

Now why did you go and post pics? Now I'm going to want one and those things aren't cheap! Nice going! C'mon I was actually starting to recover and not spend every cent I had on guns and ammo!
