Default Boston Market $1 Chicken Meal - why didn't anyone post this up?

Is the coupon real for $1.00 Boston Market chicken dinner?

Origins: The "$1 Real Chicken Deal" coupons appear to be a great deal, good for your choice of a quarter white or 3-piece dark chicken, mashed potatoes, and cornbread, all for only $1 at any participating Boston Market restaurant. (Note that this is not a "$1 OFF" coupon — with the coupon, the price of the entire meal is only $1.)

Unlike many other Internet-circulated coupons, however, this one is neither a forgery nor an unauthorized distribution of a print-only coupon. Boston Market is openly offering "$1 Real Chicken Deal" coupons online through its web site (along with other coupons redeemable for discounts on various meal purchases).

The "$1 Real Chicken Deal" Boston Market coupons are good through 1 November 2009 (and are limited to one meal per person, per visit).

Because none of us want anybody to get a great deal on a nice meal.

Thumbs down

Still butt-hurt from Oprahs free lunch. What a cluster! My girlfriend gave me four coupons instead of packing lunch that week.

Got one rain-check in the mail which I opened three days after it expired.

Default I sense a riot....

Because there has been an overwhelming response to our $1 Real Chicken Meal offer, we are experiencing shortages of our chicken menu items in many of our stores. As a result, we are no longer offering this coupon on our site. We are still honoring the coupons you have printed, however, and ask for your patience as we do so.

We appreciate your interest in Boston Market.

I just picked my 3pc Chicken in Foster City. The line wasn't long, but they did temporarily run out of chicken. It was a 10minute wait for the rotisserie to finish up. Otherwise, they were substituting for Turkey or Meatloaf. Some people were using two coupons at a time. The management didn't care.

It's a good deal. Try using two coupons and take one to lunch tomorrow.
