The only harm is the lead contamination. As far as the sound goes, babies are in a pretty good cushion and cant hear squat even the concussion of small caliber isn't bad at all, Doctors said she would be fine to shoot most things up to 30cal. My wife wanted to go shooting real bad when she was about 7months prego, so we called tons of Doctors, not a single one had any worries about the sound, but they all told us to be supper safe with the lead exposure. She only shot my 9mm and she never handle any ammunition and wore latex gloves under standard shooting gloves. She also wrapped a scarf over her face so she would inhale to much. All in all it went very well, and the baby is healthy.

I didn't think it was safe either until I talked to a bunch of Docs, still don't recommend it regularly, and don't skimp on the safety from lead exposure either. but I would say its safer to just wait, but I'm not telling a pregnant lady no... I like life

Dammit! what did I tell you about reading non hockey threads?

Speaking about your avatar I found an old SF spiders puck, along with a sharks puck from back in the CP days. That would have been awesome to have a IHL team.

Is that a threat?
I think we have laws regarding that!

You're a real class act leelaw.
