I don't think I can make it to the party, but I never miss a chance to vote Yes on BBQ tri tip sandwiches

I should have written in BBQ tri tip sandwich last time I voted for president....

I can't wait until the 5th now. I just got an email from Fedex that my kit just shipped and will be here on Wednesday (day before turkey day).

This will be the first time I've ever built a firearm. That has me very excited to learn how to do something new. Will definitely be bringing my camera and note book.

Ask Alexthewelder, the host. For personal use, bring a dremel with a bunch of cut off wheels, a good punch set, drill bits, small and large files, safety glasses, gloves, a cap or boonie hat, a hammer, and buy extra flats and rivets.

Also, a good vice for knocking out stubborn long rivets came in real handy.

thanks 69.

yes saftey is an issue so if you can bring some saftey glasses. I will have a couple I can lend out. I will have ear plugs for those of you that care about your hearing.(grinders and air compressor) If you are extra clumsy or someone who needs to wear a helmet to hammer in a nail, maybe this isnt a good idea.

best bet is to bring things considered specialty items like 69mach pointed out. some wd40 and break cleaner goes a long way.

Thanks guys. I have an angle grinder I can bring as well.

Does anyone know of a good place to buy some unfinished AK furniture? I'd like to finish my own wood furniture instead of using synthetic stuff.

If you get a complete kit, the furniture will come with it. But if you want to try it on an extra stock set........http://www.centerfiresystems.com/stkaka12.aspx

You will have to do the finish removal yourself. I highly recommend Citristrip. That stuff is the ****!

OK, I need AK builder flats, rivet and center support. Do I need to pay you now or could it wait until the BP?

Everything will be taken care of but now I am stuck with waiting for the money to post, and get a new card etc etc. Just a pain. I don't use my card for many things online but I made my acct with gunpal about two weeks ago and just added my checking acct 2 days ago. The next day, this happened. I'm sure this is probably not connected with gunpal, and I don't want you to be weary using them. I've sent money with gunpal already for a purchase thru cg and it worked fine. Long story short. The card I had on file with gunpal is closed as of last night. And I am considering closing my existing bank acct and opening a new one. This sucks, because I really want to use gunpal in the future. I hope my card is here before the weekend(going to Reno!)
I'm in the EU managing our international expansion. GUNPAL has not had a security breach.

I would close both accounts and add new ones to GP just to be safe.

Please count me in for the BP.

I have no tool usable for the BP and I don't mind to have either taco or sandwich, whichever is convenient for the hosts.

Alex, we'll take care of the fee when we meet.

PM sent. I would love to go but have to work. I wouldn't be able to get there until just after 5:00pm if the party is still going on. I can always swing by and pick up some supplies from duraglock if he is still there.

Spots are getting claimed fast! Let me know if you are sending a payment before you do, So I can make sure there is room.

If you are building and need parts for your build, Dont forget to let duraglock know what you need asap so he has time to get the orders shipped.

Thanks guys,
Alex

Have to have the AKbuilder one, or modify one of the tongs to fit inside the receiver.
