Default beginning coyote hunting in socal

CGN search didn't yield the results I wanted. Can you guys link me to the areas for coyote hunting especially Goddard Valley, if that is applicable. Also, what are the basic necessities? Hunting license, etc. I have a .308 Tikka T3 lite set up, but anymore help is appreciated.

I was also wondering if there is a coyote season or can you hunt them year round.

Your .308 T3 Lite will work well....my main coyote rifle is a T3 Lite in .243 and I had the barrel cut down to 16 1/2".
I use a electronic call, but many folks have good luck with hand calls.
Take care,Stan
Good advice from Stan! He is a Pro... expert! If your gona day hunt a decoy comes in handy too! Especially if your E-caller has a built in decoy...

Hey KU,

Post up in This Thread and we'll get you set-up with someone. I'm from Los Angeles as well, so you will probably end up going with me! I hunt the lead-free zone, so you will have to make sure you have lead-free ammo.

I'll look for you there!

Eric

Haha, I see your point. I'm not asking for GPS coords on coyote prime.

How are the hunting permits issued, calendar year or 1 year from purchase?

I read your thread on your new caller. Too pricey at the moment. Considering how terrible I was with turkey calling, I'll be buying some electronic. I appreciate seeing how you kit out as well.

@Eric: posted.
