Great resource, just what I was looking for (thanks to CGN custom Google search... "bug out bag"). Watching people in Chile stumble out of their buildings in the middle of the night, after this morning's early earthquake there, I saw many who were carrying backpacks and duffels, and it reminded me I need to get this done.

Good point. One I have not thought about as we currently do not have any pets.

I am overdue for an update to the original list. Work up a list for pet owners and I'd be happy to add it.

This is AWESOME. Thanks for the work you put in!

Do you think you could make the images of the lists larger so I could actually print them out and use them? Thanks again man

you can get cipro at http://vetamerica.com/ for 26.00 per 100 tabs @ 250mg, thats enough for 3 cycles. they also have a good selection at great prices for other anti's, no prescription required.

http://www.idph.state.il.us/Bioterro..._FINAL%207.pdf

has a good childrens dosage chart..

Hmmm....not sure how to. I uploaded the pics here, and when I did, it downsized them automatically.

Does anyone have somewhere to host the pics at full-size? If so, I could send you the originals.

1) I know you are joking, but many others misunderstood the intent of the original post. It is not meant to be an all-inclusive list....just a starting point for ideas that you pick and choose from what does/does not apply

2) "Orange Home Depot buckets".....already many steps ahead of you (I bought a bunch). The one addition I would recommend though is to buy "Gamma Seals" for them. They cost more than the darn buckets, but they make getting into them easy (lid screws on) and more importantly, makes them water-tight (o-ring on the snap-on portion, with a secondary o-ring on the screw-on lid). Highly recmomended...

All I carry is food and clothes for 2 days - I already know where I am going and whats available to me there and that's enough. 2 sets of poly tracksuits 2 sets of under armor type a beanie 2 liters of water and some mre's and my pistol. Just bought a Swedish stove kit and the sas book from CTD for 10 bux to add as well.

Sorry guys....I never realized how small the pics print until I tried to do it myself. They are so small, the checklists are illegible. The originals are much larger, but when I upload to CalGuns, it resizes them smaller.

I have reloaded them as 4 (instead of 2) at larger size. Hopefully these are easier to print/read.

Let me know if these are better (i.e. you can print and actually read them)

HTH!

I just realized I could upload them to CalGuns as PDF's.

Post #2 now contains the PDF version (much easier to read....)

Thanks XYZ for pointing out the duplication.

PDF's corrected.....BOB-1.PDF contains all 4 pages in one PDF....

Thanks for catching that.

Thanks SVRider. I was missing a few items I hadn't even thought of. This an extremely helpful tool. +1 This thread definitely needs sticky status.

You're very welcome. I'm glad to be able to help my fellow CalGunners out.

I need to spend some time going through the more recent posts and updating the list (although some of the recent ones I saw might make me reconsider)....

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. I am glad to be able to help you guys with your planning. In my mind, the safety and security of my family is one of my top priorities, hence the list. You are all very welcome.

I left off on post #566 of the BOB thread. I need to pick up from there and update the list. Time is the only limitation....something that is at a premium for me right now.

I will try to get it up to date soon....

Thanks again guys (and you are most welcome Str8shutr)...

I have printed the list and gave copies to all my BOB buddies..."Required reading" !!

Could you make a downloadable .pdf file for each page rather than just a .jpeg, I am not able to read the list when I print it out, and it takes up alot of ink.
