Default Colt Umarex M4 Carbine on Gunbroker

Has anyone else seen this guys ads on gunbroker?

"This a pretty darn good poop scooper. Or it would be a great down rigger for holding a Bluegill under in a good current while flathead fishing. It functions a little better than a "Rubber Ducky" as a training tool but barely. It has a laser, a forward grip, quad rail, two mags, a Colt logo on the side...but don't hold your breathe...it doesn't work like a Colt...they just get paid for the name. Is unreliable. Unworthy. And priced a 1 penny....free shipping to lower 47 states. No credit card charges. No hope. No love. Good Luck. Clearly stating...NO returns, buyer beware, buyer get a real gun instead, buyer go fishing. Check out our other fine selection of Umarex guns returned to by people who were dumb enough to think they could spend their hard earned money on a Colt gun and have it work. Silly hard working Americans. We gladly refunded their money so we could lose hundreds and hundreds dollars. Thanks Colt."

"This is a fully functional boat paddle. Canoe paddle. Use it for anything you like other than a reliably functioning firearm. It will ship with two mags, removable rear sight, flat top, quad rial, box and manual. It is a very heavy paddle and poorly designed. It will be free shipping to lower 47 states. No sales to California. No extra credit card fees. This is a poor example of anything with Colt's name and logo on the side. It is stated clearly that this not to be thought of a a reliable, actually loading, firing or extracting firearm. The only thing that makes this a firearm is the fact it has a serial number. No returns. Buyer beware. POS....good luck..."

Now I didn't make this thread to bash the gun, I'm just laughing my @ss off at how ridiculous and funny these are.

thats awesome! he has a $300 bid on one of them. I guess the boat paddle is more valuable than a plunger or drain marker, or pooper scooper

This dealer is a stand up guy, who sold every Colt/Umarex he ordered only to have them all come back with problems. He's trying to dump them without burning the next buyer, talk about honesty in advertising.

Ha, damnitt...if he sold to CA, I'd buy one just for the hell of it. It could be my piss-me-off project I work on when everything else is done!

If they all had problems why are they going back to him instead of the manufacture? strange sounds like there is more to the story than told.

This is what the seller says.
"For those of you who are wondering...Yes, of course we have sent the gun in for repair and it was covered by warranty. That warranty made sure it came back with the same three problems it left with. I would have anyone but them work on it again."

Noticed one of these has been sitting behind the counter at the local sporting good store for a few weeks now... at $700. I pointed it out to the store manager but considering I had just gotten out of an interview with him it may have been bad timing to tell him he wasted a few hundred to just put that on display and to lower the price if he wants it out of there. He looked a bit pissed
