Exclamation UPDATE 10/7/09: **PRESS ON!!!** - STOP AB962/SB585!

Calgunners,

Update 10/7/09: FINISH STRONG! Grab some more flyers and make sure we have covered the state. Please make sure to add your drop locations to the list (link below) so we can follow up and see where some outreach would be appropriate. The antis are ramping up their efforts all (not to mention the newspaper editorials), let's drown them out! SHOW 'EM THAT CALGUNS CAN BEAT THEM NOW, AND EVERY TIME! Call, write, fax, email the Gov, then do it again!

List of Locations We've Dropped Flyers: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...iRFpnUXc&hl=en
**Please update as best you can after dropping off flyers**

List of Flyer Stocking Locations (Calgunners): http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...SRWR0YXc&hl=en

Please donate to the Calguns Foundation TODAY and help with the cost of this tremendous effort!

PDF of high-res flyer here (CAUTION: 11MB file!); remember to print it 2-sided or use this 1-sided PDF or this jpg.

Special thanks to 8-Ball for his MANY HOURS of hard work creating these flyers!

Brandon -- I will be wrapping up a transfer in Turlock this Saturday and would be glad to drop 50 flyers off at my FFL there; I can also hit up High Bridge Arms in San Francisco since I live down the street.

I live in San Mateo not far from Imbert & Smithers. I can also hit up Jackson Arms and The Gun Vault if needed...

EDIT: I also have access to a laser printer if the flyers are black-and-white and single-sided.

Brandon -

I'm in the Whittier area, and can hit the local Big 5, nearby Wal Marts, Turners in Norwalk, and my local firing range (OC Indoor Range).

If there is any way to get them before Saturday, I'm heading out to our monthly shooting clinic out at Raahauges range in Norco this Sat. I could have some for the people we shoot with, drop some at store out there, and leave some more in the Firearms Training Associates building for their classes.

I have a good rapport with Semper Fi Depot; I'd be happy to try and get them to accept a few. They don't sell guns, but they sell AR uppers and such.

You don't have J&J ARmory and Turners, Orange on your list. If you can't hit those two, have some fliers sent to me and I will hit them the moment I get them.

Great response, all!

Quick note: the plan will be to get a box of these flyers into the hands of one Calgunner in each listed area (poss two in high-population areas); from there, they will need to be divvied up among the volunteers and dropped at the businesses. Trying to keep shipping and handling to a minimum- it adds up!

One more request to help with the costs - target is now 50,000 flyers distributed statewide in 7 days. Ask your friends to toss a few tax-deductible bucks CGF's way; for less than a nickel a flyer we'll be educating and mobilizing tens of thousands of Californians- it's a small price to pay for killing these bills!

We have 30 days from passage to get a veto. Yes, we have enough time but we need to *move*.

Shaunini and I are willing to comb the Escondido/Oceanside area. We both live in San Marcos, work on Camp Pendleton so covering that chunk of land will be no sweat. I also have 3 pro 2A friends that are willing to help me out. So in short I got 4 gents and a lady on board with me willing to comb our area.

I can drop some at BayAreaGunVault in Mountain View (Bay Area). I work close by. I think they wouldn't mind helping to defeat these bills.

Default defending our freedom

Hi,

I used the NRA "one-click" system to email/spam the gov and the Stateist knobs that are pushing this agenda last night.

I am in on your effort to get the word out about this thoroughly half-assed legislation.

From San Jose and with love for my country's constitution,

Bob

EDIT: feel free to post up a soft copy of the flyer. i can print to BW/Color laser here without issue

I live walking distance the Long Beach/Signal Hill Turner's. I'll gladly to take some flyers over there. I'd print them up and get copies made myself, but I don't have a printer. We've got two Big 5's, and an ammo stocking Walmart I can hit as well.

PMing my info right now...

Default I can cover Rancho Santa Marg, Lake Forest, down to San Clemente

I live in deep south Org Cty so I can cover the following areas:

Rancho Santa Margarita: Big 5
Lake Forest: Big 5, Walmart
Laguna Niguel: On Target, Walmart, Small gun shop just off freeway
near Crown Valley - can't remember the name.
San Juan Capistrano: There must be some places in San Juan - I'll try to find.
San Clemente: I believe there is a shotgun club there.
I'll try to obtain the names of others if needed.

PDF docs: If we can get a document in PDF format, we can print some ourselves.
