Default Laptop battery

Hey someone was telling me that if you remove your battery after its fully charged, it will have a longer life span. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that. Thanks.

Myth.

Why would you remove it? So it doesn't "overcharge"? Maybe the really OLD NiMH batteries it may work on but the latest batteries that are Li-Ion or better have overcharge protection circuits. They only charge to what they need with no charge memory.

No,If you can charge the battery to overload then you should have problem with your battery to overwhelming. So that better you can only charge with battery's capacity not overcharge.
