Default Fighter Jets over Sacramento....anyone else seeing this?

Maybe an airshow?

I don't know...but they are flying low, fast and barrel rolling. Pretty neat stuff.
Think Imma go up on the roof!

I have no idea how to identify the type of Jet...but they are LOUD!

Yup, airshow. I would have gone to it, but I'm already working a concert out at Sleep Train.

I was crossing the Bay Bridge last night, and two F-18s were in formation going low and slow paralleling the bridge heading west (almost like they were coming out of Alameda). They couldn't have been more than 1500 feet off the bay, and going about what looked to be below 200 mph. It was odd.

I would like to see some of the new Raptors F-22's up close and personal, as well as, see them do maneuvers.

Saw a flight demonstration at the Reno air races last year. It was amazing, it can do maneuvers no other fighter known to me can do.

I hear the A-10C is quite the upgrade, they have a tracking system that they "admit to" can track a man size target out to 15 miles, and they can zoom in so close at that distance, the pilot can tell you which ones are smoking a cigarette. Amazing and deadly.

Two F-18s landed at Moffet Field Thurs evening. I was golfing at Sunnyvale muni which is in the landing path.

Well, that definitely wasn't the direction they were heading, but it could very well have been the same birds.

Here's an unrelated question though...back on August 22nd, there were four dark-colored T-38s that were flying formation north of Richmond. They made three large loops around, in formation the entire time. I'm 95% sure they were T-38s (I know planes pretty well), but they were very dark in color.
