Default marlin 990 .22LR

i just purchased my marlin. and the trigger pull is to heavy for my taste. what can i do to make it lighter? i am willing to just buy a new trigger if that will also give me the results i want.

It's similar to the Model 60

AWESOME THANKS i saw a bunch of model 60 mods but wasnt sure if that would work for me. also thanks for fast reply.
