How is it that some builders can turn out rifles in 3 days and others cannot deliver for over 3 months?? All I want is an adjustable stock for my 700 and I was told 3 months!!!

Stan,

Just curious.....why did you choose the XC?

I'm not a BR shooter, but it looked like the 6.5's have better BC's....

Just trying to learn something new (or at least a new perspective)...

Thx!

A really top end surgical BR build will generally fall in the $6K mark. I'm not surprised by the price. Again, that rifle is simply art..........

Well, a good supply of components is a good reason for caliber choice.

I've been doing a little reading and I am really impressed by the efficiency of the BR cartridges (6mmBR, 6.5mmBR, 7mmBR, 30BR, etc.). They hit full 308 case velocities (i.e. .243, .260, 7mm-08, .308) with 25% less powder!

I don't know why....but I've always wanted a long-range pistol....I suppose for the challenge more than anything else.

I guess this article got me looking for a Striker. Problem is getting one in the state (I'm working on it!).

http://www.6mmbr.com/gunweek083.html

Congrats again on a beautiful rifle!

Good shooting....
