Default WTS - Rossi 62 SAC pump-action .22 rifle - SOLD

Sold to 11011500a

For sale is a Rossi 62 SAC pump-action rimfire rifle. It is re-make of the famous Winchester Model 62, and will fire .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle.

The rifle is the carbine variant, and it also is a take-down model for easy storage. My father bought me this rifle when I was a kid, and it is a blast to shoot. I am selling it because I no longer need a half-dozen rimfire rifles.

The gun is in excellent mechanical condition, and is in Good external condition. There are a few marks in the bluing, and some scratches in the stock. The pictures below should give you an idea of the condition. Additionally, the rear sight elevator is missing, but a quick Google search shows these be available for less than $10.

This is a fantastic rifle for teaching kids how to shoot, or as a plinker on a camping trip.

SPF Price is $175. Located in Castro Valley/East Bay.

I'm sorry if I overstep the normal conventions of forum etiquette here...and this isnt intended as thread crapping...but I could never sell a gun my father bought me.

I have that exact model Rossi. My Grandfather bought it for me when I turned 13 (26 years ago). It was my first real rifle. This is the perfect first rifle for a young shooter.

No worries about the comment. I fully understand your feelings, and I hold related ones. My father bought me several guns when I was a kid. And although those hold some sentimental value to me, the ones that hold more are the ones that I will receive someday that he bought for himself and will leave to me when he is gone. Additionally, I have a S&W K-38 Masterpiece that belonged to my Grandfather that I will never part with because of the family relationship.

But I'm not a gun collector...I'm a shooter. For the most part, I just can't keep guns that I do not ever shoot anymore. Combine that with the fact that it has been a brutally dry year for me professionally, a few things need to be sold off.

So, I'm definitely sentimental, but there are a some limits.

Bump due to my fondness for pump rifles and rimfires.
