Default Just got a new Springfield TRP .45acp. Plus some other photos.

Here is my new Springfield TRP. I'll be at sharpshooters in about 9 hours to kill some paper with it.

And while i'm here, i'll show off a few other goodies.

Here is my grandfathers WW2 sidearm, a 1913 dated Colt 1911 .45acp. The serial is about 30,000 and is in pretty fine condition for being in two world wars AND being a NAVY gun. I had a guy check out the history and it turns out that this pistol was the 1025th 1911 issued to the US NAVY about 95 years ago.

My Springfield XD-9 Service Model. Now it has TFO sights, canyon creek tungston guide rod, #22 spring, Match barrel, and has performed flawlessly for over 25,000 rounds fired.

And of course, a good old S&W Model 66-2 .357mag with a 6" barrel. (not for home protection)

Don't stick your TRP in the holster that came with it. I got my first idiot scratch that way.

Where is the scratch located? I tried mine but didn't get any scratches.
