go to www.google.com

type in mossberg 500 reviews.

click on search

OR search calguns. you are much more likely to find good sources that way than by asking in this thread.

Because you see "banned" under his name in the first post of this thread, lol.

I just saw that video, and he's willing to buy that many shell holders and tactical rail mount crap, but couldn't swap out the fore-end so he didn't have to cut it for the sidesaddle? lol.

Nice. Are you planning on retrofitting it with wood, or are you upgrading from wood to synthetic?

Also would love to hear how that sight works for you. I considered one of those or the Hi-Viz spark II's (I believe that's what they're called--stubby, short, big dot cone shaped fiber optic through a solid cylinder post that screws in as a bead replacement)

I swapped out the synthetic forearm for wood.
I might keep it how it is, I kinda like it.

The sight,I think it would be good in low light situations, but I prefer the bead in the daylight.

Just picked up my first shotgun today, Mossberg 500A "Persuader"

Took it to the range, and wrecked my shoulder firing slugs!

I'd Like to get an eotech or aim point for it, but really I've spent way too much money as it is on a $200 shotgun... LOL... But I think everyone needs at least one. at least that's what make me feel better about all the money spent on my ZB500
Oh yeah I also have a plain 28" barrel with heat sheild too... you know just incase of zombie birds or zombie clays... I was considering buying a rifled barrel, but for the same reason as above I've held off on wasting money on this one, now I perfer on just buying practical firearms...LOL
That is awsome .......I have no words...

About $800 for the gun
$5 for the federal tax
$200 for the firearms trust
Sales tax for the state
DROS fees and waiting period

I got to OC Armory at 11:20am and was out by 3pm with everything done at the federal level. When the papers come back I start my 10-day CA DROS. I was lucky in that I was able to do the trust that same hour.

its an AOW, so you need a tax stamp. there's a bunch of threads here discussing how and where to do it.

Who will make a firearms trust for $200? Last I read, the mkt rate was $600.
