Pretty is as pretty does.

That means I would have to see those guns in action at the skeet, trap, or sporting clays range before I get too impressed.

Break targets in the 20s on the first two or high 30s in sporting clays, and you have won an admirer.

Hah! I've seen this pic before but never noticed the fuzzy cheek rest !

My Mossy is a work in progress......no pics yet but it's a blued 18" 500 with a Mesa Tactical LEO recoil reducing stock kit & Magpul MOE grip. No optics, just a stock front sight bead. The next upgrade will be an XS tritium Big Dot front sight & maybe a light (I'm thinking SureFire X300).

Sorry for the necro post.......

I'd Like to get an eotech or aim point for it, but really I've spent way too much money as it is on a $200 shotgun... LOL... But I think everyone needs at least one. at least that's what make me feel better about all the money spent on my ZB500
Oh yeah I also have a plain 28" barrel with heat sheild too... you know just incase of zombie birds or zombie clays... I was considering buying a rifled barrel, but for the same reason as above I've held off on wasting money on this one, now I perfer on just buying practical firearms...LOL

My perfect combo package: An 11-87 set up for three gun but just pull the magazine extension off, install the regular barrel and one of four choke tubes, including the rifled slug tube. I can shoot three gun competition, defend the house, shoot trap, skeet, sporting clays, dove, duck, deer all with the same gun.

That "thing" looks ridiculosly impractical but if you're that bored then have at it. If you need that kind of a sight on a shotgun then maybe shotgun accessories are not where you should be putting your money HAHA

A beautiful set up no doubt - but only 10lbs? Hell my SPAS 12 is nearly 10 lbs out of the box and EMPTY (i.e before I stuff 9 12 ga shells into it (and it's semi auto to boot)
(you'll have to buy a few extra accessories to compensate)

If you really want a good old shotgun get older 1950's model 37 Ithaca featherweight or Winchester pumps w/o an interlock .They'll outshoot any mushburger. I had a mossberg 9200 3" 12g semiauto grenade on my 2 3/4oz win aa duck loads( I fired those loads in my all steel Remington 870 12 & Winchester Model 12 12g), wasn't injured just scared me and the shooters near me as parts flew thru the air.Steel barrel with a lightweight aluminum receiver I could squeeze the light weight aluminum receiver back together with my thumb and forefinger, first and last mossberg product.Everytime the action cycled in the aluminum receiver turnings of aluminum appeared in the ejection port.Mossberg sent me a replacement and when I opened the box and cycled the action more aluminum turnings appeared. After returning from a Colorado Deer/Elk hunt I went to Turners Outdoorsman in San Bernardino,CA & turned it in on an all steel Remington 11-87
