i had a mossberg 500 combo that looked exactly like yours minus the flashlight. I even had the same red dot also. It was ridiculously heavy and I eventually took everything off except the knoxx stock.

LOL that's a nice try... even with the eotech or aimpoint I think I have you beat....

Here's my Zombie Blaster, Mallninja 500 special...

Mossberg 500
18" barrel
Heatshield
full length top rail
mesa tactical high tube stock adapter
Endine recoil reducer
ATI front rail
El Cheapo Laser
El Cheapo AR carry handle
El Cheapo Front sight tower
Oversized ambi saftey
Knoxx Sidewinder
1- Knoxx 10 round drum
3- Knoxx 6 round Box Magazines

equals:
10+lbs of mallninja-ness.... Zombies beware

here it comes....

.
.
.
.
.
.
I'd Like to get an eotech or aim point for it, but really I've spent way too much money as it is on a $200 shotgun... LOL... But I think everyone needs at least one. at least that's what make me feel better about all the money spent on my ZB500
Oh yeah I also have a plain 28" barrel with heat sheild too... you know just incase of zombie birds or zombie clays... I was considering buying a rifled barrel, but for the same reason as above I've held off on wasting money on this one, now I perfer on just buying practical firearms...LOL

An old pic of mine. It was waaaay too heavy. It is now stripped down to the standard stock, sidesaddle, and surefire. Eotech migrated to my Noveske N4.

pwned by Baron & soopafly
i had the Knoxx SW setup like Baron's on my 500... took it off, too unwieldy & i didn't need it after getting my Saiga-12 & Benelli M4
so now the Mossy just sports a Hogue foregrip and a Knoxx CopStock. nice & simple.

I will cheerfully admit to being pwned by all this outstanding mall-ninjaness. My back hurts just looking at 'em!

The closest I can come (and it ain't even close!) is an 870 with Speedfeed stock, first model Surefire forend and a 2-round extension, bead sight, no fancy Sidesaddles... and even that makes my tired ol' back hurt to carry around.

Serious question: How much does the CopStock reduce recoil for those of you that have one?

LOL Soopafly, yours was the one that inspired me to find the top rail. What happened to your top rail? Did you sell it?

My current mission to add more cr@p to my ZB500 is to find some way to mount a bayonet to it... LOL
And actually I am working on adding a flashlight to it as well. I have to modify a mount to fight a flash light I already have. No self respecting Mallninja would have a shotgun without a flashlight

Yes everyone is right it is way too heavy to be practical, but I have a stock plain jain 500 sitting next to the bed for HD... So I'm keeping my Novelty Shotgun as is... LOL

Come on guys, I know there are more mallninjas out there

Nope, it sits in the back of the safe, ready for Remmy to wear on Halloween

And no self respecting Mallninja would mount a flashlight to their shotgun smaller than the Surefire M4 Devastator!!!!!!!

You can mount it to the top rail using the LaRue offset flashlight mount:

The folly of the OP's scattergun is that he didn't go far enough. If you're going for the MNSOTY(Mall Ninja Shotgun of the Year) award you need to go waaaay over the top...and if your zombie blaster weighs in less than 15 lbs...you have a ways to go

You've got a nice mall ninja shotgun starter kit there, Baron. And you are right...the bayonet and flashlight are needed to bring it closer to completion. Plus an older model Eotech should be mounted...for more weight.

Well, mine's not covered in all kinds of tacti-cool gizmos, but I've managed to smooth the action and reduce the trigger pull by nearly two pounds. Does your shotgun do that, or are all the innards factory stock? You call that a custom gun?

I might add a heatshield, side saddle, and new sights...but that's about it.

I have a project I'm working on getting parts for that I'd like to complete once I have the NFA paperwork...

I have a modified knox sidewinder drum setup for a 10 inch barrel that has a side folding charging handle.

I plan on using it on an AOW once I get the paperwork sorted.

But this is my 'tacticool' girl.

She is made of 100% Factory remington parts assembled on a 1955 wingmaster receiver....

The wood is off of a NOS military MK1, as is the bayonette lug/extension... the stock is an original LEO topfolder with the rare shell holding bracket.

I used an old 2.75" barrel cut down to 21 inches and wingmaster trigger assembly with a chromed bolt.

I basically bought enough parts to assemble 3 shotguns and picked the best of them to make her....

she's nice

nope... 2.75" I was referring to the length of the shell it chambered (as opposed to a 3" chamber on modern 870's)

Thanks for the compliment
