Default Glock slide machining?

I was looking at some pics of some after market Glock slides, and I really like the looks of some of them. I was wondering if it's possible to have my Glock 20's slide machined to look more like a Lone Wolf, but I have some questions first. I know that there are places that do front cocking serrations so that's a given. The things that I really wonder about are the bevels on some of the Lone Wolf barrels. I really like the way the beveled front of the Lone Wolf slide looks and I'm wondering if there is enough meat on a factory slide to machine the bevels into it. I was also kind of wondering about how some Lone Wolf slides had an open top, with the barrel exposed. Does this have a purpose, or just to look pretty? Is it possible to machine a factory slide like this?

I hear that they can take near $500 to complete with internals, sights and everything. If I bought a Lone Wolf, would my stock slide internals and sights mount up to the Lone Wolf? Is the Lone Wolf actually a better slide than the factory, or just little things like the front serrations?

Better? Doubtful. Prettier? Sure. More functional? Depends on you.

I'm not directly familiar with the Lone Wolf slides, but all the internals should be the same.

The Lone Wolf slides will take all the factory parts.

The quality is OEM, it's not manufactured to tighter specs or "improved" in any way I can determine.

Here's my 6" slide assembly on the 21:

Old German manufactured slide, 6" Jarvis barrel, Bomar sights, and the worlds ugliest deformed right big toe (don't ask.)
