Talking Have this, now what?

Finally built this thing up. Was thinking of getting a tripod for my 1919, & add a picatinny adapter for this.

Belt Fed Upper? regret not buying a lakeside now.

50 BMG upper? not a rifle, used a virgin receiver, never had a stock or pistol grip.

Featureless: no mag lock. Added extended takedown pins and ambi selector.

The CSW is really well made, just wish it would have used a carbine tube instead of a A2 tube to make it shorter. I see why they didn't, because it would require more engineering and be even more expensive

I agree with .50 Beo, but you could also swap in a .22lr upper for the lols.

Wanted to get that anyway, was waiting for a large deal to close so I can justify it, then find someone who will sell one here

I can tell you that belt fed is way more fun. You have a 1919 and no tripod? how do you shoot it? I tried the M2 tripod and find I like the 1917 with AA adapter better for sweeping traverse fire.

Personally I would get a belt fed upper in .223.

Didn't Hathcock use Lyman 8x too? Would be hard to distinguish in that picture.

Hasn't run right, figured I'll get one after it runs right , so the tripod won't take space here. It's been in the back of the safe for about 6 years. Just haven't been to a place where I can give it a go in awhile, and have a chance to trouble shoot.

In the mean time, iron creations started making his tripods again, I just need to order one.

The 9mm upper is cheaper and cheaper to feed than the .223, and I could take the hole thing to an indoor range

I have found the biggest issue with 1919's is the headspace. Have you pulled it apart and adjusted it? There is a very good video on you tube on how to set it without any gauges. I use that method to set mine and it has always run flawlessly.
