Default NEW Vortex Crossfire mildot scopes!!

Calgunners,

We have the new Vortex Crossfire scopes, the 4-16x50 AO illuminated mildot and the 6-24x50 AO illuminated mildot and the new 8-32x50 V-plex wide. These scopes turned out very well! Good glass, tall target knobs, 30mm tubes, and backed by Vortex.

If you are considering BSA, Simmons, Tasco, NcStar, Barska, Burris, Millett, or other low end makes you need to give these your full attention. There is nothing better for the money!

Scott

I'm in Montana, the 6-24 and 4-16 are in stock, prices are $199 and $189 shipped, respectively.

Do you have the crossfire 4x16's and 6x24's in stock and are those calgun prices still good? If so which would you recommend for a .308 shooting out to 600 yards?

TIA!

Just order online and mention the price in the "Notice to Us" or order by phone.

If all goes well this Friday I should have a range report coming this Sunday.

Just from playing with my new crossfire it looks like a great deal for the price. Clear glass, solid clicks, nice quality. Nothing to complain about so far.

Scott,

What is your calguns price for the Crossfire 8-32x50 model? And how much is shipping to 94065?

$199 shipped, but please understand the view at 32x isn't so great...it's asking too much of the glass.

Would I be better served to go with the 6-24x model instead? Looking for honest opinion. I read on snipercentral that the 4-16x model suffers from "tunnel-vision" in the sense that it looks like one is looking through a toilet paper roll. I understand it's a low priced optic and can't compare with higher end stuff. What do you think?

I just sold my Nikon Monarch 6-24x50 only because the internal adjusment was a pitiful 34MOA. I don't mind spending more...looking for a variable scope with at least 20x power, plenty of internal adjustment to take a .223 to 1000yards, and a precise reticle of some sort. Illumination is not necessary.

There is a bit of that but not enough to bother me, it's a personal preference thing.

You are going to school me here, but you can take a .223 to 1000 yards?? 77grain SMK??? what's the drop in moa at 1000 yards?

Did you get your order in Friday and get them shipped out yet?

I just received a UPS delivery tracking email but I don't know what it's for, (I order too much stuff).

Scott.

Just for information I put the Vortex Crossfire 6x24 AO on my 10/22 and shot Timberwolf's rimfire tactical match last Saturday and placed the highest that I ever did at any match using that rifle and ammo. I want to say that it was all due to my shooting skills but the clarity of the scope and the repeatability of the adjustments might have helped.

Scott, I see that you have the IOR 2.5x10 FFP Mil/Mil back in stock... Do you have confidence in this IOR and if so what is the Cal Gun price?
I also heard they were going to put new knobs on this unit? I can wait if that is the case.
This IOR is the closest I seem to come to USO SN-3 1.8x10 for what I can afford.

Yes, a new BIG KNOB version is coming that I'm pretty excited about. I'd wait until they arrive (6-10 weeks)
