During both deployments I was basically an 11B, humping across Afghanistan with 80lbs of gear. I don't really know what a real MP does...

13D - Fire Direction Specialist (Field Artillery) US Army. Was in 4th Battalion -27th Field Artillery, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, based in Baumholder Germany from 2003-2007. Spent a year in the middle east, got out after we returned back to Germany. As soon as we got to Iraq the Artillery went away and I became a 50 cal gunner for a humvee and went on patrols/did guard duty at COB Courage. If anyone here was in 1/22 from 4th ID, we were there with you.

Isn't that the truth. Signed up for computers in Field artillery, drove a humvee or manned the 50 cal while driving around.
