Default 22 Magnum (WMRF): Which Semi-Auto Rifles chamber this round?

I'm just wondering what other auto-loading rifles are chambered for the 22 Mag besides the now discontinued Ruger 10/22 Mag and the H&K 300.

BTW, anyone have a Ruger 10/22 Mag they are willing to sell for a reasonable price?

I've just looked on Gunbroker and Gunsamerica ... very very limited selection on 22WMR.

Even went to www.galleryofguns.com and didn't find any in inventory. Is this caliber dead? I mean, I know it's not mainstream ... but is 17HMR taking over? (from 22WMR that is)

22Mag rocks! I just sold a Ruger lever action model 96/22mag because I picked up an almost new Taurus model 72C in 22mag. One slick little gun. I agree, affordable semi-auto 22mags are few and far between.

22WMR's rifles are selling for a premium right now, because the only lead free rimfire ammoe made is in 22WMR. I have 3, 17HMR rifles but I can't use them in a lead free zone.

OK, so the Remington 597 Magnum is currently produced, yeah? How much do these go for and where can I find one in the SoCal (LA, OC) area? Anyone have one they'd like to sell?

http://www.remington.com/products/fi...597_magnum.asp

I have tons of 22 Mag ammo I bought way back when and would like another rifle to utilize the ammo besides my HK 300 and my AMT Automag II.

yep.....kinda the reverse of what's typical nowadays; I'm trying to find another gun to burn up all the ammo I have! It's good to know that there's plenty more at Walmart though.

There's also the MagnumLite from Magnum Research. Not cheap, but looks to be a fine rifle. They come in several flavors, here's a couple:

I saw that during a search on the net; looks like a copy of the discontinued Ruger 10/22 Mag; could it be licensed by Ruger when they dropped it from their own line?

Accelerator Rifle

I have one in 17 HMR and it is accurate and functions perfectly. They had issues years ago and people still talk bad about them. Gun people are loyal to their beliefs.

My favorite 22 Mag rifle is the Henry Lever action.

Not semi-auto but here is a pic of my favorite 22mag rifle. Taurus model 72C case hardened. She's a hoot to shoot. With iron sights it is more accurate than I am.

If you want to spend the money and can find one, the H&K 300 comes in 22 Mag. Very accurate for a self loader. Accessories are expensive and hard to find as well.

Actually, not true. WInchester makes a lead free .22 lr.

Marlin makes/made?, a semi auto .22mag rifle. I noticed that .22mag is usually in stock at Wal Mart even with all the retarded panic buying/chicken little behavior going on.

AMT made a stainless .22 magnum back in the late 80's, called the Magnum Hunter. It was a nice looking rifle with a medium weight barrel and synthetic stock. I haven't seen one on the used market in many years.

I didn't realize there was a magnum version of the AMT Hunter! I'd love to get my hands on one although I am a bit leery about the 10/22 magnum action because I understand they were discontinued by Ruger because of a design flaw and high rates of failure/returns. Must be even more rare than my 22LR AMT Hunter; very cool rimfire which is basically a 10/22 stainless action with 22" sporter weight barrel and a polymer black stock that looks like something you would find on a bolt action hunting rifle. Very cool!
