So which one does a better job?
Glock21 torture test.

I'll admit that the tractor running over the P220 is more impressive than a pickup over the Glock21.

You could roll a 747 over either and they'd survive. In fact, a Jennings would likely pass the same "test".

So this means, the plain jane P220 will do the same as the combat.

Ask all the combat vets who carried one on a daily basis in the mud, snow, and desert.

It's not really "torture" unless you put it in a black cloth bag and pour water over it to simulate drowning.

Yup. The only real difference between the 220 and combat is the butt ugly color and the price tag.

Agreed! I still think the P220ST is the best P220 they Sig ever built, next to the original plain jane P220.

I love my Sig 220 Combat. The only thing I would change is the availability of holsters, had to massage an OD Blackhawk SRPA to fit but it is snug and secure. Need to order some more mags for it now that I think about it.

I just picked up my very first pistol last monday, and it just so happened to be a p220. Only confirms I made a great choice.

Picking up my sig 220 combat this coming Tuesday! Can wait! I bought a new galco leather holster made for a HK 45 CON292B Fits great. I was shocked that it fit but my local gun store said they have been ordering these for lots of 220 combat owners.

I really want a serpa though. Im used to how they feel. I didnt know you could "MAKE" them work.
